The applique is not quite as big as the picture made it look, probably about 42" high, but it worked well over my son's headboard and he loved it. It is a little hard to get everything matched up, and it did pull a little paint off the wall when I had to rearrange a piece. I wouldn't suggest trying to apply this to the wall with kids around. You'll need all your patience for this project, though it only takes about 15 minutes to get it all together.

On the positive side, it looks great, and my 5-year-old son wanted more just like it (but they don't sell them yet).
